Are you trying to ask with reference to the age of a person or times of the day?
As for the garages, seems it's up to them.
I think that you will find the change in culture here very, very different to what you are used to.
PS. Where are you now? According to your profile you are in Zagreb but the questions you ask and the way you refer to 'back home' make it that you are here, on Malta.

OK, understood but on here I do not think it works like that. I could be wrong but if people update where they are from, as in where they are from now, when questions are asked and advice given, it can be useful to know. That can make the answers better suited to the person who is asking.

I moved to Valletta because people told me "it's dead after 6pm"..turned out there is a wine bar at the corner and they even set up a stage IN FRONT (!!!) of my window and I had to listen to concerts in full volume every friday and saturday until midnight. I work on weekends, so that was very annoying. The landlord even called the police. There was nothing they could do, because the wine bar had a permit or something.

I'm currently relocating to the north, because it's the only option.

Toon, I remember one of the best bits of advice you ever wrote and that was to visit where you intend to live, several times at various times of day to check out the noise.
Any chance of adding that to the residency update?
