Health, EHIC and misinformation?

Yep,

you learn new things about Malta every day ! -))

So the 'problem' is with your children! I hope it works as easy for them once you have the passports !

Cheers

sorry for bringing old subject, but I'm confused now...

I live in Malta for 3 months now, my e-ID is still not done, I work, pay taxes and SSC

my wife and kids (schoolboy and baby) are here for 3 weeks, still no e-ID card

So, do I need to apply for something to be entitled for free health care in hospital and clinics?
Does the rest of my family need to apply for something?

In my company they just said to me that as I'm paying SSC i have free health care and my family is also entitled to it trough me...

I'm a Croat, EU member... just for your info ;)

you and your family are covered - as you dont have the Eresidence card, you might have to show a payslip to prove payment of SSC
