Is it really this hard to get started online in Luxembourg?

I guess it will be hard for any newbie, specially if you are not well informed about the market and work culture. Also, do you speak any of these languages : Luxembourgish, French, German

Yes, I agree it can be hard for newcomers, especially without knowing the market and work culture.

I only speak English fluently for now, but I’ve started learning French because I know it will help in Luxembourg.

Would you say English is enough to manage daily life and business at first, or is French or German really needed early on?

You can get by with English, but to properly integrate you would need French.

So French is almost essential for daily life and admin, while English is common in business, but real integration leans French.

In your experience, if someone is moving to Luxembourg soon, is it smarter to focus only on French for the first year first, or start with basic French and add Luxembourgish later?

That is a fair point. I can see how my post might have come across that way.

I was not asking how to set up online in general. I wanted to understand the specific challenges business owners and freelancers in Luxembourg face, because the local market and admin environment can be different from other places.

I appreciate you pointing out the incongruity though. I will be clearer in future posts.
