Guys - I've been trolling through Trustpilot reviews and virtually all major Italian banks are rated abysmally, by both Italians and expats, for customer service, reliability and trustworthiness. Look for yourselves, it's really discouraging. Only Fineco generally gets somewhat positive reviews, which is interesting given they're part of the highly disliked Unicredit group.

Most things in Italy are the same. They look really good, but don't work very well. Unfortunately that often includes the Italians....

The Italian and UK goverments confirmed the right of reciprocity in March 2021 - so a Brit can buy in Italy and vice versa. The Italian college of Notaries have confirmed this.
