Short term apartment rental market in Berlin

Hi,

I am moving to Berlin this summer. I've heard there is a shortage of short term(few month) rentals in Berlin. If anyone moved to Berlin recently, how hard was it to find the short term apartment and how long did it take to find one?

Here is the example of what I will be looking for:
- studio or one bedroom apartment, size of apartment is not essential
- budget 800-1300 euro
- duration 2 - 6 month

It is true, the short-term (furnished) apartment market is difficult (for guests). Do not expect a bargain: Slightly less than a hotel room is the norm. If you find something that costs just double of a long-term rent, count yourself lucky and take it immediately!
