after meeting Jonathan's family (who are quite possibly the most wonderful people i have ever met) it has become abundantly clear that i need and very much want to learn french so that i can participate more when i'm there, i know next to nothing in french (its fair to say that i did not pay attention in gcse french) but i am more than excited to start, i have Rosetta Stone and have very recently started learning on my own but i think that i would progress much faster if i had a friend to practice with
