Summer English language course for our 6 year old son

Federico Addimando

Good morning everyone. My son (6 years old) is Italian and we would love to have our son attend a language course in England (if possible full time, obviously sleeping with us and not at school).

We are looking, if possible, for a course that is not too "expensive", even organized by schools or public institutions, the important thing is that they accept, in fact, a native Italian speaker child.

Can you help me?

Thank you all and have a good day

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

When we moved here, our youngest (7-year-old twins) only spoke Dutch; the school they went to arranged English lessons, and that together with mixing with the other kids at the school meant they were fluent in a few months.  My advice is to contact the local primary school from where you live and ask them.

I hope this helps.

Try local community colleges or council-run language programs; they often offer affordable courses for children. Alternatively, summer schools like Explore Learning cater to young learners. Private tutors could also tailor sessions to your son’s needs at home.
