Don't worry much about that You are going to the country that is the forerunner on meds for type one and two. So yes quite a few has it here.

I don't know about Italy but our medical sector is very capable and listed as one of the best in the world. And diabetes is concidered a fairly common thing.

I don't have any real experience since I am mostly healthy but I'm a professional working with expats and most is impresses by our medical system.  Just make sure to get the health card quickly.

I would say the more immediate concern would be scouting options to get a job but that you might already have sorted?

Absolutely, the work involved is crucial, and I agree.

May I ask you this: my wife uses Humalog Junior and Toujeo. Could she continue using these insulins, or will she necessarily be switched to Novo Nordisk products?

She would like to stick with her current regimen because, after years of trial and error, it works well for her. That is our only concern.

Both preparations are widely used in Denmark. Don't worry.

However, maybe it will be a good idea to become a member of the advocacy organization, the Danish Diabetes Association?
