Covid vaccine Forum advice

Hi,
The portal for registration in order to make an appointment for the Covid vaccine has been very difficult due to both the registration process, and also due to the site crashing for most of the day it was supposed to open in order to make our appointment for this specific age group.
We have now been told by GP that we will not be able to book app online as we have missed our slot!!
How on Earth are we supposed to receive this vaccine if one cannot book appointment online without an error message saying “ not eligible “
Any advice or suggestions pls?

Do what I did as I was impacted by this when 64+ age group was eligible and I couldn’t get through get in touch with your GESY clinic doctor and get them to book it for you had mine on Saturday and the second dose is booked for July 3rd

Hi Toon,
Thank you for your reply. I took your advise and tried to book vaccine through our gesy clinic.
They refused to book an appointment saying we must register on the gov.portal and wait for a new date to be advised for those that had missed the first opportunity.
The date has now been rescheduled for This week. So all in order now.
