Moving Back...

Hello All,

I'm not necessarily new, but haven't been quite active in awhile. My name is Misha and my family and I briefly lived in Condado 5 years ago, and will be returning next year. This time, we'd like to like in Aguadilla, however; I've run into a snag with transporting one of our fur babies. She is a Boxer (which is now considered a snub nose breed) and I cannot find ANY airline that offers transport. We will be coming from Dallas TX if anyone can give me some advice on a reputable company to get her transported.

Thank you all

Hi Tamisha. Have you tried typing in your browser "transporting a dog from usa to puerto rico"?
There are many companies there. Contact as many as you can and see what works for you.
Hello,

Yes, I did and there aren't really many options for snub nose breeds specifically. That's the issue. It's not just regular transportation, there's an issue with the breed of dog. As they are prone to respiratory issues. I may have found a couple, waiting to hear back at this point.

Thanks
Hi Tamisha,

I also have have boxers and I ran into the snag you did. One of my boxers is my ESA, and the other isn’t so I needed to find a way to fly him. Good news, I found Ebenzer Dog and Cat shipping. You can find them on Facebook. They deal with shipping to and from Puerto Rico using Amerijet and seem to be a perfect fit for my upcoming move to PR. It may a little pricey but they seem to be very attentive and passionate about the animals. Also they provide the crates as well, which can cost upwards $400ish when shipping on your own. I was able to get a quote from them thru FB messenger by providing breed/age/weight and shipping from/to.

Good luck and let us know how it goes!
So you understand, is such a pain. My other 2 dogs are little and can fly with us. I don't have any social media, but I'll have a friend do it for me. I greatly appreciate the information. Good luck on your move!Β  Please let me know how it all goes if you will.

Take care

You could try Pet Airways. It's expensive but may be the only alternative for that size/breed. They have retrofitted planes so that animals fly inside the plane itself, not in cargo. The staff is devoted to caring for the pets from drop-off to pickup. You won't have to supply a huge crate or anything. Not sure if they fly out of Dallas though.

Right choice, Tamisha!Β  :)
Their phone number is listed if you just search for Ebenezer Dog & Cat Shipping Services.

I certainly did, and got a quote πŸ˜‰
Thanks again!
Great to hear! Hope your move goes smooth.
Thank you, same to you!
