Are building permits in Puerto Rico on hold by the government?

We were told by a realtor that no new building permits are being issued on the island due to a backlog of unfinished projects and that this is making it more difficult to sell vacant land.  Is this true?

Hello Kvk623...if your question refers to private homes...Not true at all. As far as commercial property I do not know if it's true or not. I can confirm that I see that contruction on the island is actively healthy. That's all I have.
