New members of the Nicaragua forum, introduce yourselves here - 2026

HI Everyone,

I'm new here on the forum. 

My husband and I are retirees, and will be moving to Ometempe Island soon. I don't have a set date yet as we are in just in the beginning stages of planning.   

I have a house to sell, and a whole bunch of crap to sell as well. 

We do have a few friends there as we have visited there a few times and bought a piece of land too. 

We also are driving down from New Mexico and bringing  our dogs and cat.. whew.. wow...

I could all the help and suggestions I can get especially if you have driven down from the states.

I am creating a book with all my notes and instructions so anything will help.
