re my apartments They are in a GREAT area where I moved to 22 years ago My how time flew .. I also have 2 lots for sale BUT as mentioned I think you should RENT first to see if you would adapt as there areMANY different climates and lifestyles here But I believe there is a place for everyones taste

Apartments and Chalets are Cosy and nicely furnished and SAFE on enclosed pretty farm with VIEWS and Wireless Internet but when I have time I will ask the Boss:) I dont think I cannot send photos from here so drop me a line at my email addy if you know how to figure it out Many have in other sites..except from my private email above..There are sweet and tenants just went back all same time to USA 2 couples stayed almost 2 years instead of a month as they had tried living in MANY places until they found my little piece of Heaven
You will be pleased to know that I am fussy to whom I rent NO DRUGS or staggering Drunks Social drinking is OK..
Many use this place as home base while they look for property also as buses are very nice and so close (at my gate LOL:)
I also have a 3 bedroom Chalet for $450 other chalet needs a little work so if you were a handyman we could work out a deal..NOT a MUST but a big Plus.
In the past I have lowered people rent in return for a LITTLR handyman :Honey do's" type of things and feeding my3 dogs outside Takes 10 minutes mornings....ALSO not a must but another option .I also could make it a long term gig with SMALL salary and fee house or apt,,
Rents range from $400 to $500 1 bedroom and private patioother is cosy 2 bedroom BOTH have wireless Internet and Awesome VIEWS
Back of MY house I have huge patio for for get- togethers if with other tenants IF you mail me and give approx dates I can send pics and let you know if available..I know this NICE site has free ads which i put my rentals on on in an ad,,but I don't know if they like us talking about that on BLOGS I should ask..been too busy SO contact me for pics etc and HOW many people? no pets as i have plenty to share but DEPENDS on pets personality... your lifestyle and dates if u know and I will check availability

Hi Kathy, Congratulations on your move to CR...You came from NYC so I can imagine how much of a change that was for you and your husband after leaving such a large metro city like NY....

We are also from a large city and my hubby and I are thinking about visiting CR for a few weeks if not longer, but that is contingent upon my job situation come Jan 2014...If I am laid off, we may visit for about a month or so.

My question is, you mentioned that you both live on under $2000 a month and you have 1/2 acre of gardens, WOW! As I told my hubby we need to stop watching House hunters international with people buying luxurious homes in CR, because it discourages us from even contemplating such a move...

However after reading your post, I wanted to ask what kind of lifestyle do you both live on your budget, and how is different from living in the States where the cost of living can be much much higher?? do you have health insurance, and if so, how affordable is it? What is the quality of care and accessiblity to clinics, doctors offices, and hospitals??

Do you rely on a car to get around?
