Moving to Belize as a Missionary

Belize1934

I am an ordained minister and a licensed in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in USA.

How can I practice Acupuncture in Belize?
Do they have a licensing organization or Government section for an Acupuncturist?

Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum! You can obtain a lot of good information here, or directions on finding the information you need.
I would suggest you contact the Ministry of Health regarding the practice of acupuncture. I am not certain what the requirements in Belize are, but if you are licensed in the US, you should be able to be licensed in Belize. There is a lot of paperwork involved, and it will be time consuming, but may be worth your effort. I am an MD, and considered practicing in Belize, but I am not sure I want to jump through the hoops. It would be more pro bono, so not sure it is worth it.
Good luck! Hope you are successful.

In view of current news events, I can't believe that your work as a missionary in the U.S. could possibly be finished.
Why don't you help those poor folks first?

@Karenjoe  As I understand it, there's a big need for doctors... so I hope you do decide to jump through the hoops.
