Erika & Jerome, expats in Antigua & Barbuda

We are a couple in our early fifties—proof that age is just a number.

Both of us have built our careers in the web industry — Erika as a Product and UX Designer, and Jerome as a Web Developer — working independently for many years before deciding to make Antigua our home.

Our story began in Paris, France, where we first met while teaching at the same engineering school — not as a couple, but as colleagues.

Later, our paths crossed again in Montréal, Canada, where our professional connection blossomed into a life partnership.

Relocating to Antigua was a dream,  but it quickly became clear that making it our home would be a challenge.

Between the complexity of local regulations and the challenge of navigating unfamiliar administrative procedures, the process often felt overwhelming and time-consuming.

Yet, through every obstacle, we discovered opportunities to learn, adapt, and grow.

This experience sparked an idea: what if our experience could guide others in making their move to Antigua a success?

Thus Haven Antigua was born.
