Today is the last day of the sea festival in Nha Trang city

From 8 to 11 June 2013, Sea Festival 2013 with the theme “Nha Trang – Sea rendezvous” will take place in Nha Trang City, Cam Ranh City, Khanh Vinh District and Ninh Hoa Town (Khanh Hoa Province).
The event is held every two years by People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa Province to promote potentials and strengths of economy, culture, tourism as well as sustainable development prospects of Nha Trang City in particular and Khanh Hoa Province in general. This aims to call investment from organizations and individuals at home and abroad to Khanh Hoa and contribute to affirming Nha Trang as city to organize national and international events.
The Sea Festival 2013 will include about 60 cultural activities, festivals, exhibitions, fairs, workshops such as opening ceremony and fireworks on 8 June; street festival; introduction of 100 attractions of Nha Trang and Khanh Hoa; festivals of bird nests, seafood, beer, XQ (embroidery) Nha Trang, fruits, Asia hot balloon, motorcycles, “Yang Bay Legend”; coffee festival towards Vietnamese sea and islands; poetry festival; international sand sculpture festival; culinary festival; exhibition on marine cultural heritage; workshop “Marine cultural heritage with sustainable tourism development in Khanh Hoa”... 
Especially, this will be the first time Nha Trang – Viet Nam International Sea Tourism Fair with the theme “Sea - island and tourism development” has been organized at the sea festival from 6 to 8 June with many typical activities as international tourism fair; “Viet Nam night” program; program for international buyers and press; sea tourism investment promotion conference; workshops on international cruise tourism in Viet Nam, sea tourism product development in the South Central coastal provinces; tourism business award; open golf tournament…
Besides, this year’s program also has traditional games; competitions of cuisine, floral art; press award; performance of songs about Truong Sa Island and Khanh Hoa sea and islands; sports activities (human chess; international parachute contest; championships of international women's beach volleyball, national beach handball, national water motorcycles; bicycle parade…)
To promote the Sea Festival 2013, the Organization Board has scheduled to make clips, documentary films about previous festivals; advertise the festival on local television and newspapers, magazines, websites nationwide; at the same time hold press conferences in Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang City to introduce widely the Sea Festival 2013
