Support for teachers in Vietnam

You have a very thoughtful post that fills a need I've felt myself. I've done some self-study on Futurelearn courses but admittedly this only goes so far.

I would glad to assist in starting some sort of workshop series. The main challenge I see in having a consistent group of trainers.

They're all good, but I'm concerned about where can find qualified trainers?

The most reasonable way to go about it would be through a recruitment company. Many of the larger companies have a staff that specialise in these areas or at least some form of knowledge-base to draw from.
I would be interested in a situation where a company recruits teachers for local schools, but provides an adequate base of information and resources that was then made available publicly. That would ensure trainers that do not require direct reimbursement. At the end of the day, it is a service for the greater good of Vietnamese students. So, a service that didn't require paid staff would be ideal.

Yeah, well the problem is paying those trainers. There are plenty of students that have just graduated from university in the West that would gladly take the opportunity to spread some methodology. I bet there are also many experienced teachers (not necessarily educated) that would like to do something a bit more meaningful than their regular language centre schedule.

First, there is a crushing need (in rural areas particularly) for quality teachers. Sometimes the managers don't realise this need and suffice with the shoddy staff that they are handed. Admittedly there is also a need for quality teachers in the West, haha. But there are many ways it benefits them to come to Vietnam.
-  Roughly the same pay for much fewer working hours.
-  Much lower cost of living.
-  A sense of adventure.

When it comes to experienced teachers that are already here. A lot of them would probably love the chance to do something with more substance. Many are not looking for a career in teaching and may be "cowboys", but their experience and stories could still be useful.

These two groups of teachers would be the trainers. Both of them complementing the other. I think the best way of creating this situation would be by creating some form of recruitment company, or using one that already exists.

Or just start with an online forum dedicated to the subject. That would be a few hundred times simpler.
