Dear Hang,

I read all that was posted. However, appears laws are in place, but in Viet Nam personal practices of managing even personal waste is very problematic in Viet Nam.

My wife and I live in the South. Tien Giang Province, My Tho. We have traveled up and down Viet Nam for some time now.

I am sad to tell yo it seems the general population, a high percentage which is very poor, has little or no concept of waste management.

IF you have been here awhile, you probably come to the same conclusion. I have little or no idea what can be done in the short term, let alone the long term.
