Hi
Hi,It is my understanding that only Thai citizens can own land in Thailand. There are some exceptions such as if you are setting up a company in which case a foreigner can be a partial owner. The other is if you can find a Thai owner that would be willing to give the foreigner a long term lease. In that case the foreigner can own any structure that they build on that property.I was just wondering how you intend to do it. Please correct me if I am wrong.Thanks,Randy- @rzugnoni
@hunterjinx You do not need fancy qualifications to get teaching jobs here. However you will need basic training which can be gained in a few months. Best to get them in the USA first. Obviously the best universities and international schools will cherry pick highly qualified and experienced teachers but there are opportunities for others albeit for lower wages. You must be aware that you will need a work permit to get employment and there are only a small number of jobs that you can get work permits for. You need to get acquainted with this list as it will help you focus on how your skills can best be utilised.

"Basic training" won't get anyone a legal job as a teacher in Thailand anymore. It doesn't work like that now,but years ago it did.
