Hi Ian, if you are planning to stay on a nice beach during August or September in Thailand I would suggest you to go to Samui just to avoid the rain. I actually would like to say Phuket if you plan for you long stay like more than a month... It's low season in Phuket you will find a good price for accommodation. Enjoy your trip;)

Hi Arti, I'm in Online Marketing Business. Currently expanding Japanese Health & Beauty Technology market in S.East Asia.
Hi
I recently moved from India to Pattaya after marriage as my husband is employed here. Trying to settle in... Looking for a job in and around Pattaya in finance/ accounts.. Looking forward to meeting ppl, making new friends, learning Thai, go diving, explore local islands...
Hi to all my name is Ramon I first came to thailand in 2010 for a 1 month holiday and I have been back 6-7 times since and my previous visit in Dec 2014 I met my girlfriend Nok and upon my return to London where I lived for 6 years I realised I did not want to be in uk anymore and set about escaping.
So I have escaped and as of 1 week ago I am now a resident of bangkok and have began renting a little spot in bang na.
I am just a long stayer at this point so will experience the joys of visa style runs real soon. 54 days!
I am yet to visit the North East of Thailand but have travelled around a fair bit over the years.
A pet hate of mine is when I told people my plan they assume I am interested in gogo bars and crazy nights. I like a quiet life and I kind of enjoy not understanding a word of what is being said around me but I will give up this vice soon!
I am business minded and I am keen to meet others with the same interests and values.
Aside from work I'd love a kick around in bkk and anything active. Integrating with thais is very important to me so my main area of development is yes you guessed it. Learn the language to some extent.
Name not very English I know. I am half Pakistan and half Irish and my mother chose a Spanish name for me.... bit of a hippy my mother.
Anyway that's me I look forward to contributing and interacting with other expats in thailand.

Hi im David Isaacs and i am originally from Cape Town South Africa. I have been staying in Chiang Mai my new home. I have a girl friend here whom im staying with. I am looking to meet some expat people here espetially from South Africa. My girl friend has a excellent restaurant here which serves excellent thai food, not much more to say other than looking forward to meeting people.
I am delighted I found this Forum. I am an American girl (Southern California) looking for my next "home" somewhere in the world. I am exploring the possibility of Thailand and landing in Chiang Mai on November 3rd. I would be interested in meeting expats for friendship and building community while there. Also, open to suggestions on best places to live, best places to meet people (40s-50s), etc. Looking forward to this new adventure!
