Most large Thai banks offer foreign currency deposit accounts (FCDs), including USD. Examples:

Bangkok Bank

Kasikorn Bank (KBank)

Siam Commercial Bank (SCB)

Krungthai Bank

Bank of Ayudhya (Krungsri)

What You’ll Typically Need (for Individuals):

Passport (for foreigners)

Thai visa or work permit (not always required, but helps)

Thai address (proof of residence like a utility bill or lease)

Thai phone number

Minimum deposit (varies; often starts around $1,000)
