Planning to stay in Malaysia to save money.

Hello guys, are Singapore foreign workers specially    S-pass holders allowed to rent or to stay in Malaysia?  I am thinking that I could save money if I will stay in juhor and come to work in singspore every day like Malaysian people do.  Pls advise. Thanks

Apart from the practical inconveniences (safety concerns, general dysfunction, and the nearest residential areas in Johore being a one hour commute away from the typical workplace in Singapore - IF there is no traffic jam!), you would need a residence visa for Malaysia to be allowed to live there, as it is a separate country. You may ask on the Malaysia forum about the requirements for such visa!
