Alot of expats hang out there and over the years I have found it very friendly with excellent food ( its essentially Smorgasbord) with a good selection of western and local food on the menu. Just so you know 99.9% of the women there are hookers but they leave you alone if you just want to have a beer with your mates or just sit there at the bar and watch
They have a live band every night starting at 10.Although I don't live in the city I would guess that its probably the best place to meet expats from all countries.

Yes I concur with that. A slice of 50's Americana - a throw back in time with excellent food and service. Great value for money. For the naive tourist its in the red light district but perfectly harmless at anytime of the day. A good place to people watch is just down the road - Café Cubana with authentic Cuban music - la la la di da da da
