Moving to Bohol need some help

Hello everyone!
so after a long search about where to live in philippines, I desided that bohol is where i will try. Now i try to look online for apartments or house for rent but not much i cant find on line and what i find are way to much, so can i just move there go to a hotle for a week or 2 and drive around to find a place for rent there? is that the best way?
im looking for something about §200 to 250 amonth near a beach or river if not, then a pool be nice i have save about §11000 so that is what i have when i get there in november but no business and no income, i was before going to open one there but from all i read on forums its not a good idea to do smal biz in the philippines so i will try to do a online biz while im there.
what you think? and what are the nice area city i should look in Bohol to stay? I dont care much about night life bare and clubs i just like near a nice beach where i can sometime go see a movie, go to a mall and restaurand once in a while. just a simple life for me
