I guess you know you can't apply for a LTSVP until you have been married 6 months and have registered your marriage

Hi, iam currently on employment pass (EP) which is till valid SEP 2020. I'm married to an MALAYSIAN 7 months back and now planning to apply spouse visa...
Note: my project with company is over now and company may cancel my EP in 30 days.

Could you please tell the procedure to apply spouse visa...do I need to cancel EP and apply spouse visa or can I apply for spouse visa directly with existing EP so that immegrassion will cancel EP and prove spouse visa with NOT PERMITTED TO WORK endorsement?

Rules are changing and you need to know if you must leave the country or not when the EP is cancelled.

There are so many variables

Basically you have time wasted on this forum changing your story and question.

Worst scenario you need a VDR Visa with Reference to enter and get your spouse visa

You can work if  there is any company willing to offer you job , but the company will have to provide  you with offer letter stating details for your empowerment and they will have to go with you to Immgration so  u can process your working permit . It normally doesn’t take time . If the company  owner or who ever in charge of  Human Resources can follow u to immigration, u will be give the work permit.. it can be done in one day.

I just want to know when we have valid EP and going to apply for spouse visa...do immegrassion will cancel and provide spouse visa ....or do we need to cancel EP with 30 days grace period and should apply for spouse visa with in 30 days?? What is the process....

The employer shortens the EP to an agreed date at end of notice period.  You apply for the spouse visa once the EP is shortened.

If you want to continue to work but on a spouse visa please go to immigration at Shah Alam and enquire how to do the change
