Yellow Fever Certficate

Is a yellow fever certificate mandatory to travel to Mauritania? Or will they allow you in without one since I don't plan to travel to the South of the country?

To answer my own question. No you don't need a yellow fever certificate unless if you are living in or a citizen of a country that is high risk for yellow fever. They will not ask for it at customs or passport control unless if you are from one of the countries that are high risk for yellow fever, and you are traveling to Mauritania.
