Square, there is one at the Omar Mukhtar Street. From Gargaresh heading to the Green Square, it should be at the right hand side. The building looks like Cathedral or a Church with photos of Karate Kids outside. What discipline are you?

Best martial art for self defence purposes is - kmgscotland.co.uk/ somehow I can't see them ever opening a class here though

On a side note, if you are looking at 'self defence' try and avoid the martial arts that are based on form and stance, because although it is good for balance, it does very little for you in a street fight scenario. Go for something like kick boxing, or Kung Foo (Chinese Boxing) more free flowing and more adaptable to the type of situation you may (if you are unlucky) find yourself faced with on the street.

I totally agree Clansman, one of the best is Thai boxing or Aikido.
