hello
i have heard that libya has got a huge building programe on its coutry ie new hospitals airports etc and that why i wanted to come over.liverpool has had its day as the rest of the uk.
there is work about but the arse as fell out of the building game over here.so that is the reason am looking afar for work.

There is alot of building work here, but you're competing against guys who want far less money than you'd need. Plus they're recruited locally through agents in Thailand, Philipines etc.

I'm not a recruitment agency, I'm just giving facts about Libya and the harsh reality is he's competing against guys who're being exploited for minimal wages, the level of which he'd probably not want to work for.

My comment, whilst slightly tongue in cheek, was to do with why someone would be wanting to come and work in a country that is recognised by international companies as a 'hardship' posting when they'd be competing for work with people for whom the UK National Minimum wage would be like a winning lottery ticket.

I totally agree with Mudman, my husband works for a construction company. they pay unskilled workers ~ 1 Dollar/hour ; and skilled people ~2,5 /3 Dollars/ hour. and you can find plenty of workers here. is that what you really want Murphy?
