BP Drilling Off Libyan Coast May Threaten Ancient Sites

Are you sure about that? it took them billions to kill it!!!
For the deaf (and ignorant), I'll say it again...
BP are experts in well control, the US government (by their own admission), are not.

I removed the other paragraphs along that line, it certainly sounded like you were boasting about BP.

Yes, and ''Tony Hawkins'' or whoever got FU's at his face from the American people!

Firefox, you clearly know nothing about drilling a well, maybe you should go work an NOC!
It's easy to throw around words like 'billions', but you probably do not have a clue about the costs involved in drilling even a shallow, vertical well on shore. Like the majority of the population, the oil & gas industry is something that never appears on your radar until an event like this occurs. For those of us who work in the industry we're concerned about the lives lost, the damage to the environment and to those whose livelihoods are indirectly affected - but the numbers thrown around about the uninformed are of no surprise.
Feel free to misquote my post or highlight parts of it for your entertainment.
Any one else falling in love with this AdBot thing?

I am not going to quote your post, Mudman for the simple reason that your right I have no clue on Drilling as Drilling Engineer >>> not my profession. Although, I did NOT throw around words like 'BILLIONS' ask BP about that, I'll advise you to do a bit of research if your still not sure about the fact & FIGURES.
FireFox wrote:Yes, and ''Tony Hawkins'' or whoever got FU's at his face from the American people!
Wrong again. You're not doing too well with the facts are you?
Tony Hayward was removed by BP's board of directors. Along with a healthy pension.

1.) You did.
2.) I'm happy the level of my knowledge thanks. Oil companies are happy to pay me for it too.
Win.
3.) And please remember the difference between "you're" and "your" ( and even "yor" and "yaw" ). I let it slide the first few times, but attention to detail is part of my job. Sorry for being a pedant.

[b]Got yaa! I did that on purpose, just to see how far you'll go to prove one wrong! and secondly I can't go on with someone not willing to get to the facts & figures.

[b]Yes, yes he was removed only after his sight seeing of the disaster and thousands of people from that region then chanted FU's!
BTW, I have a shirt which I got from a friend in the States you wanna know what's mentioned on the front and back? or should I upload as a profile pic...sadly that way you'll see one side of it!

1) Yes I did and you know it.
2) Fine.

[b]As I said previously, Tony Hayward was removed by BP's board of directors. Your personal opinion was never considered.

If your taste in shirts is as good as your knowledge of the oil industry, your fashion sense is about as keen as your intellect.

No reaction (my point proved), I feel satisfied!

No reaction needed, pointless statement.

Julien, what do you want to say about that? Isn't that a personal attack? I am neither deaf nor am I ignorant just trying to make my point.

Good... then it wasn't for you.
Moreover you (considering all the accounts you held in the past and all the profanity and hate you've spouted whether on the board or in PMs) have a lot more on you record than any one else on the forum

No one invited you here, next time please mind your business or should I say it the american way as in 'beeswax'
With regards to your second paragraph, I have no clue as to who you are referring to? That's one odd statement!
Moel.

Stockfish, you're wasting your time.
It is an actual scientific fact that you can lead a cow upstairs, but cannot ever get it to walk downstairs. Their knees just don't allow them to go in the other direction.
Also: elephants can't jump and all polar bears are left-handed.
and your link. Doesn't!

What did we learn?
Travis_Chase wrote:GEEEEE a whole lot of opposition on this post, I can't see why though come to think of it BP did make a mess of the oil spill. They had absolutely no clue and this is why I say this according to wiki, the efforts by multiple ships to douse the flames were unsuccessful. The rig burned for approximately 36 hours, then sank. Where are all those preventive measures, and expertise of well control that BP claimed had only after the incident. I rightly so think that blaming BP was the right of the media, people, and the American government regardless of any circumstances.
I feel you man, they won't realize all that! Especially a 2 faced who loves attention here!
