Regarding swimming classes at Zanzoor

don't have the numbers on me but there is a ''scuba dive Libya'' group. you can google it and even on facebook as well.

good luck. dving is great here in Libya. lot of virgin waters.

I am also interested in testing the Libyan waters for diving. I have dived before in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia, but some folks have said your best bet around here is the Red Sea (Sharm El Shiekh, which si one fo the world's top dive spots in fact), not the Mediterranean. If for some reason you are stuck here though then they recommend Malta for some good limestone dives. Still, I may go check out Libyan waters with the school in Janzour just to see for myself how it is.
