Learning Swahili in Nairobi

Hi everyone,

I'm in Nairobi for the next 8 weeks and would like to learn some Swahili while I'm here. Does anyone know of a language school that does short courses? I'm a student so I'm not interested in pricier private lessons.

Thanks!

National Museum does a short course. Link below:

There's also this one which has an 'immersion' course,  but it's time consuming:

There are also resources such as Pimsleur, which are useful, ad they tend to focus on conversational Swahili.

Got one?
Dear Saana,
There are a few affordable swahili classes available in Nairobi.
However, swahili is a very easy language to learn and you can even tutor yourself or find a friend to assist by simply buying a cheap English-swahili translation pocket size booklet to help you learn a few basic words and more complex with time. With interest and enthusiasm, you will surprise yourself as to how good you will be at it in no time! Enjoy!
