rather worried -- housing and transport in Luanda

Hi everyone.  I am likely to move to Luanda for six months, and I am really rather worried.  I have lived in other places in Africa -- even in DRC and CAR -- but I am really worried about the kind of logistical and financial obstacles I might face in Angola.  I have to think very carefully about this.

I wonder if someone can share some advice:

1) I need something furnished.  Can I find a furnished apartment at all ?  Ideally with electricity etc already connected, if not included.

How much can I expect to pay for a furnished apartment of good standard, totally secure location, with one or two bedrooms ?

2) I will need a maid to come daily or maybe thrice a week.  What are the costs ?  Is it easy to find someone reliable ?

3) I don't drive.  How easy is it to move around ?  This could be a major handicap for me.  My office won't provide transport.  So I will need to go to and from the office every day -- I don't even expect I'll be able to have a social life without a car.
