Titled "RED ART," the exhibition is curated by Francisco Lacerda. The "RED ART" project will delve into the artists' reflections and interpretations of the color red in art. The participating artists will consider the evolution of red throughout art history. Drawing on the rich legacy of red in art, these artists will present their unique perspectives. They may create new works inspired by masterpieces or offer their own political, sociological, psychological, religious, and sexual commentaries.
The exhibition will explore themes such as challenging historical traditions, expressing personal and collective identities, and examining how the color red has been understood and represented across cultures and traditions. The first day of exhibition, the gallery will be opened for everyone starting at 3pm. You can invite anyone you want. The next following days the gallery will be opened from 2pm to 7pm with the RED ART exhibition.
