Hello everyone!
I'd like to know if someone is planning to go n work in Egypt and how's he going to deal with the new Labour laws?! Because now it's not that easy to get a work permission. I'm looking for people to tell me what fields still need foreigners. Tourism? Call Centers?

To my knowledge this issue is still under debate ..nothing finalized till now. shouldn't be any problem. Rest the best place to get authentic info if your local Egypt Consulate

I got letter from my boss in order to get a work permit, and when I went to the government building to get the visa, they just said, 'eh, we'll give you a six month temp residence visa, and just renew it every 6 months.' There wasn't much arguing. Perhaps it was more laid back because I'm in the arts? I don't know, but it was kinda funny...just my experience.
