Hi Sharon,
I own property in Hurghada, It is very safe there, As is all of Egypt. I am retiring there next year. The people are friendly and very helpful.
I purchased my apartment through ...Rivermead Global, they are based in Manchester and are simply the best. Check out their website and view the property the have, they have from cheap as chips to affordable and lush to very extravagant.
Speak to Neil, he's very knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
