Getting a Driver's license in Rabigh Driving school

Getting a driver's license in Saudi Arabia is as equally difficult as in any other country. If you have  your own country's license it is relatively easy although you must satisfy the inspector your skills during the test.

If you don't have a license already then the story is bit long. Please never think that Car driving is EASY as every one around you say quite often and you believe it once you get few test rides. AS you know driving is like swimming, one can't estimate his learning skills through others comments or useful tips. You must practice and be familiar and consistent with it so that the car should become part of your body (!).  Rabigh driving school offers 30 days / 5 days crash course but the timeline is defined by the police officer on your first day of test unless you clear the test.

The driving track and the small tips the coach tells you at every turn is vital and immensely important.

First: Read the car : Get familiarized with the Steering, Gear, Break, Accelerator and Clutch actions in the car.

Steering: Practice Hand-over-hand to turn complete right or complete left turn (One half + One full turn). this you can practice while the car is idle.

Clutch: you must "FEEL" the biting point while releasing the clutch (at which the engine sound increases). Clutch is a stu**d idea compared to modern automatic cars.

In my opinion, it is only the automobile industry (R&D) which didn't grow fast compared to other research fields after the WW2 since they kept on maintaining three pedals (Clutch, Break, Accelerator) while god has created only two feet to Human (!!! Shame on those old lazy automobile researchers) the good news is Automatic transmission is in market already and now the manual transmission, in general purpose cars, is almost obsolete. Mostly automatic  (Thanks are to those by then young minds !).

Gears: Please refer to plenty of online tutorials on Gear change in Manual transmission car.
