Hello!

Im looking at buying a property where I, along with my wife and daughter can spend about 3 months a year enjoying the best of Mauritius while working remotely, part time.

Which in your opinion, is the best areas to buy in?

Im looking near Grand Baie, but am unsure.

Im looking for something near to the beach and in an area that hopefully will increase in property value over time.

any suggestions along with reasons will be greatly appreciated.

Helloo,

This is gr8 idea..indeed Grand Baie is the best spot in Mauritius. Very active n crowded..however if you prefer a soothing place i would recommend you to check on Tamarina side..not bad as well,

First of all, please note that foreigners in Mauritius can only buy apartments (under some conditions and subjected to approval) and villas in designated schemes called IRS, RES and IHS which are geared towards expats.

So you might want to reads about the property legislation here before choosing a location.
