Hello Everyone, I am a Kenyan citizen, lives in Nairobi, area, I am here to network and make new friends too!
As well I am Actively Job Seeking  ,I am certain I would make a valuable addition to any Organization  recruiting  , With more than 6 years as a Office
Administrator ,and one year experience as County volunteer project
Officer with an NGO supporting Social Enterprise .
In addition to my experience and personal qualities, I have a solid educational foundation , I have a passion for businesses with ever-changing projects and growth
strategies and a passion for social change.I love entrepreneurship too ,though haven't started any Business yet .

I am originally from the US but have lived in Ethiopia and travelled to several East African countries. I am currently living in North Carolina and am considering moving to Mombasa for retirement. I already have a place in Mombasa City to live but would like advice on best places to go to meet Kenyans and other ex-pats in order to learn the culture and language. Also I would appreciate any important dos/don'ts so I don't look too ignorant. Any advice would be appreciated :)

I'm not new in Nairobi, but new to the whole meeting people. I moved here from London after a brief stay in China after getting married. Although I have been here for a few years now I'm only just finally calling it home. I have a few pass time activities that keep me busy. Love writing, eating, coffee and travel.

Hiya all.... am Jacquie and new to this forum.  I relocate to Nairobi in mid Feb 2017 after spending 25 years in France mainly and a few yrs working in uk & states. Am kenyan born so Nairobi is not new to me but I spent all my adult life in France. So in a way I have everything to discover since ave never worked there. No job plan...just intend to come back home and mingle...see whats happening and probably set up a business or something....

I'm a Sri Lankan that's planning on migrating to Mombasa towards the end of this year. I can work my current job from there as long as I have the internet so I'm looking to experience the Swahili culture and food there and let's not forget the countless safaris :)
