Work Permit

I dont think have something to do with the embassy, unless they deport you. Consular sections are for other purposes.

But my visa officer who is responsible to process my work permit told me that cairo visa office (interior ministry) is waiting to get some kind of security clearance from my embassy which he says that always part of work permit procedure.

My work permit process started almost 15 days ago and work permit is still pending!

The problem is that my touristic visa has been expired and grace period is also over which is making me worried!

Never heard of such a think, but maybe they changed the rules in btw...?

Hi Can any body advise normally it takes how many days to get work permit and what are afterward formalities.
