Hi,

Environmental protection is a challenging issue for all the countries around the world. Would you say this issue is deemed of significance in Pakistan?

Is the country going green through initiatives like waste management and selective sorting programs, renewable energies, public transport, green awareness campaigns and so forth?

How do you personally commit to improve the environment in your daily life?

We would greatly appreciate if you could tell us more about the various local initiatives for sustainable development in Pakistan.

Pakistan is one of the developing country firstly the layer of terrorism and than natural disasters have caused huge damage to the environment. As you know development its self is destruction and it is in a sense that we have industries polluting air and water in its first contact and than the human and animals. one the other hand the people having low or no awareness about the adverse effects of deforestation and they are active in their role.
The turning point is this; that our government spend a lot of money in making strategies(For Go Green or other) than for the implementation but there is no team neither any supportive person for look after. means our government have planted millions of plants but no responsible person for watering these plants neither a single person to secure them from animals and human as well. **

To compete with Heat and pollution problems ,

(1) Reduce Burning process

Pakistan should have Dams and water reservoir .So that we should generate Electricity by Hydel Power. In this way Pakistan will have electricity on very low price .Then All Home kitchens should have Electric Stoves so that we should safe from carbon dioxide which is main cause for heat , in green house effect .

(2) How to Plant more trees

Government should make it compulsory that any farmer must plant 10 trees per Acres on its borders .Or Two Acres trees should be compulsory for those who have 10 Acres of land.

(3) Use Public Transport

'Government should make it possible that Public transport always available on low cost. Large and Mega Cities may not allow to enter personal cars on wide range but public transport .

(4)
Small Recycle / Reuse Industry
Small units of recycling should build around every city and make it possible for students to get jobs there from the 15 to 25 years of age.

(5) Solar and electric Battery cars

Hybrid cars should be duty free . Government should give concession of taxes to solar and Hybrid cars .
