Climate in Khartoum
The weather in Khartoum is very hot in the summer months, with temperatures ranging from the high 80s up to 120 F. During the winter months, it is cooler and dryer, with temperatures between 70F and 90F. The rainy season runs from July to September, bringing the temperatures down a little.

Taxi prices start from 1 euro 20 cents for a short distance (5 sudanese pounds) for 5-10 minutes for example and go up to 2 euros and 50 cents for longer distances - i've never paid more than that.
