Veterinary service in Nha Trang

Dear all,
Could you tell me something about veterinary care in Nha Trang. Are there any qualified specialists who can rally take care of dogs and cats (therapy and surgery)?

Hi Danatta,

yes, there are, however very limited in Languages. there are also a couple of "shops" where  I am not sure about the service. Our one, comes usually on call, does a quite good job (including mini surgeries), is however a bit unreliable in timing and always fully booked.
Try to call him, he speaks a good bit of English 091 3471 722. He does house visits, just make sure, someone Vietnamese can help you pronouncing your address.
You might need to push him hard, very hard. expect up to 3 days delay on scheduled appointment.
Emergencies he treats with priority.
We use him now  over 5 years for our 5 dogs. Costs are commonly moderate, no foreigners allowances. Expect anything depending matter between 40 000 ( tick injection) - 1 000 000 vnd ( fixing a dog, after overrun by a small truck with 2 wheels over 3 visits) , depending on issue + medicines.

and one of the "shops":
- 1 is about 500 m next to the big roundabout at the railway crossing towards city center (from Khamh Rhan) on the right side- sorry can't help you with the street name
- however, there are a few in town, commonly have CHOW & MEAW signs out.

Good luck

I3ully, thank you very much for the information.
We are not in Nha Trang yet, but plan to move there. Are there a lot of expats who has pets?

I think expats with pets are only a few, as most "expats" leave more the impression of longer term tourist
