Introduction: New Expat ESL Teacher in Ankara

I'm Justin, 33 yr old male.

Looking for expat groups and communities for social activities and get-togethers. I teach M-F from 8-4 so I'm available at night.

Some of my hobbies include: tourism (obviously), strategy (board and party) games, singing (karaoke), playing music in general (if anyone has access to a piano), eating out, rock climbing, and more.

In general, I'm interested in soaking up the Turkish culture and ambiance of this beautiful city. Anyone interested in getting together (preferably a lot...)?

Hey,

Nice to meet you I'm new to Ankara too. I've heard Kizilay has alot of night-life but I haven't sampled the culture yet as it's so cold & I'm curled up indoors

I did go to an amusement park in Ulus one night, it was pretty. There was a lovely water show with lights & stuff, it looked a little vegas lol. It's located beyond a very nice park just as you get out of the sation exit. Then there's the museum & the many malls.
