Currency at airport

you can take USD 5000 maximum.

dont carry Libyan currency with out as its useless...its not traded anywhere and you will not get a proper exchange rate even if someone shows interest to buy.

for USD conversion its best to ask you company to help you sort it out through their bank otherwise you wont get any dollars in Tripoli since locals go and buy all the cash out and sell it in the black market at the Gold Souq and Airport itself.
