I am hoping to visit Mauritius the later part of Jan 2012 for approx 2/3 weeks and would welcome any advice as to reasonable hotels that do not charge(or little)for a single supplement. The average seems to be 25€ per night! also would this be a good time to visit ?

Hi,

Since you are a lady , I would suggest that you get more information about the accomodation that you will get on line for that budget. All areas of Mauritius are not safe.

Just to make myself clear; 25€ per day is 'on top' of the cost of the hotel already, I will keep looking..

Hi Terence,good day since you will be coming here on holidays for some weeks,i can help you and arrange a hotel where you can obtain at a reasonable price of about £25 per day.I live here in the town place in the centre of mauritius and its safe in morning and at night also and the cost of living is good.So in the week when you will be coming here in mauritius,you let me know will keep in touch.
