The second International Magic Festival, MISDIRECTION, is set to return to Mauritius this November following the success of its first edition. This year's show promises to be even more impressive, with a brand new selection of world-renowned artists.

Two hours of magic

The show is scheduled for 18 and 19 November at the legendary MGI theatre in Moka, where spectators will be immersed in a fascinating world of magic, offering a unique experience in the Indian Ocean region.

For almost two hours, audiences will have the chance to enjoy an unforgettable magical experience in the company of exceptional international magicians, all champions in their respective fields. It's a unique opportunity to discover an unusual world, especially in Mauritius.

Several renowned artists

This prestigious event will bring together world-renowned artists who are masters of the art of magic.

Adrien Quillien

Nicknamed "The tamer of magic cocktails", Adrien Quillien has an impressive track record, with numerous titles and distinctions to his name. In 2017, he became French magic champion, and the following year, he achieved a remarkable 4th place at the World Championship in 2018. In addition to his passion for magic, he also holds a degree in luxury hotel and catering. His magic acts focus mainly on cooking and mixology, creating a unique and captivating show.

Tom Wouda

Magic prodigy Tom Wouda began practicing his art at the age of 8, and currently holds the title of Champion de France in 2023. His act is a true demonstration of high-level technical prowess, and you'll be amazed by the elegance of his magical performance.

Ernesto Planas

Ernesto Planas, the rising star of Latino magic, is an artist with dazzling charisma who has lit up the biggest stages on Broadway and won the hearts of audiences at the famous "greatest cabaret in the world" hosted by Patrick Sébastien. Her act is a captivating, rhythmic experience that transports you into a spellbinding dance.

Béryl

Béryl, a young Franco-Mauritian magician, is the creator of the MISDIRECTION Festival. In 2016, she won the prestigious title of vice-champion of France in magic, demonstrating her exceptional talent. Since that victory, she has traveled the world presenting captivating acts whose magic transcends borders.

Guilhem Julia

Guilhem is a passionate illusionist who holds a doctorate in law and is a senior lecturer. In addition to his academic career, he is also a member of the French magic team, a testament to his talent in this art. He combines magic with original themes, creating captivating acts. In 2018, he was crowned French champion, and in 2013, he was invited to join "Le plus grand cabaret du monde" hosted by Patrick Sébastien, where he amazed audiences with his illusions.

Marie Helene

Marie Hélène, bronze medallist at the World Magic Championships in the comedy category, will delight audiences with her unexpected humor.

Clarissa

Clarissa, originally from Benin, is a multi-talented artist: dancer, actress, singer and, above all, magician. With her versatile skills and magnetic aura, Clarissa is a must-see at the festival.

Pathy Bad

Pathy Bad, as well as being the Director of the French Magic Team, is a renowned mentalist and the director of the famous cabaret L'Ange Bleu. Alongside Clarissa, he will be co-presenting the show, adding a mysterious touch that will add a spellbinding atmosphere to the event.
