your best bet is booking.com or yapo.cl. just rent fir a few days. if yiu like it stay longer or leave ti another place. as you stay longer you meet people and get better deals

You could look at Locanto for Puerto Montt. It has ads often by owners not agencies, for apartments, houses and rooms for rent as well as many other products and services. The prices are usually posted in the ad.
