Lucky Non Refund

Weird policy at Lucky supermarket store. other day I took a small kitchen appliance off the shelve to the cashier. When the cashier wrung it I noticed the price on the computer screen wasn't same as I had seen on the shelves. I asked the cashier to remove it, he called the manger who told me the store policy  is no refund only exchanges. I replied but I've not brought it yet. It's still in the store and I have not even paid for it yet. I threatened to walk out and not purchase anything at all. Finally, he agreed to take the item off and I paid for my groceries and left. I'm still confused about Lucky's policy, was it just a one-off experience?

It is Lucky's policy, even if you happen to grab the wrong item. You can exchange but no refunds. So watch what you grab as their stickers are not always paying attention, do there could be a different item mixed in.
