Relocation to Gibraltar with family

Hi,

Me and my family are looking into moving to Gibraltar from the UK and after some advice.

I am currently  a serving Police Officer in the UK and have been enquiring with Royal  Gibraltar  Police to transfer over to Gibraltar.

I am currently  living with my wife and two children aged 2 and 4 months old.

We are wanting some advice on the following:

1. Looking at renting a property first for a family of 4 what are the pricing of rent and are properties easy to come by for renting, before buying a house.

2. What is the cost of living?

3. What are the schooling like?

4. Career opportunities for the younger generation for when my kids grow older ie university and job aspirations

5. Setting up bank accounts

6. Work/life balance and things to do?

7. Childcare/nursing for the children if me and my wife are both working

8. Jobs/Careers for my wife, she is currently in commercial marketing for food.


We would appreciate any help/advice
