Indonesian Food

Hello Saigoners oi !

I want to know if Indonesian foods are popular or not here in Saigon especially among the expats..

please tell me about your favorite Indonesian food you've tried and what do you think about the price? expensive, pretty normal, or cheap ?

please tell me what do you think guys

Thank you (:

The only time I have noticed Indonesian food in Sai Gon was many years ago at a restaurant attached to the Pullman Hotel on Trang Hung Dao St. in District 1. They had Gado Gado on the menu and I enjoyed it several times.

I haven't specifically looked for it though, so maybe it is around. There is or used to be a small place in Phnom Penh that I also enjoyed on numerous occasions.

At any rate, I think it would be popular among both locals and expats if it was available. These days Sai Gon seems to be full of (northern) Indian restaurants. This kind of food is great, but I don't want to eat it all of the time.

I think some new style restaurants could do very well in this market.
